These qualities make its newest licensing collaboration with DreamWorks Animation a natural fit, and a groundbreaking one for the social selling industry.
DreamWorks Animation is a global family entertainment company representing 32 feature films, which have garnered more than $13 billion in box office sales over the years. Its newly forged collaboration with Origami Owl is the first agreement of its kind with a social selling company.
This fall, the collaboration will kick off with the release of a delightful feature film that brings to life the nostalgia and joy of an original classic, Trolls. Together, Origami Owl and DreamWorks Animation will produce officially licensed and designed collections starting October 1, 2016 that will not be available anywhere else.
Trolls is a powerful film that’s more than a smart, fresh, animated comedy; it’s a film about self-expression, optimism and plenty of hugs (and dance parties!).
Origami Owl Co-Founder Chrissy Weems says the movie shares many of the core values that have set Origami Owl apart from many others in the social selling space and she can’t wait for the the upcoming collaboration.

Slated for release in November of 2016, this irreverent film will introduce viewers to a colorful, wondrous world populated by hilariously unforgettable characters—Trolls who have constant songs on their lips, and the pessimistic Bergens who are only happy when they have Trolls in their stomachs.
